Flower Honey – Wild Malotira (Ballota) 250g
6,20 € incl. VAT
A treasure of the Cretan land with an intense, unique taste and a special aroma, thyme honey has been known and loved since ancient times.
From mid-May, the bees are moved to Cape Spatha in Chania, Crete, at an altitude of 400 metres. Wild thyme fills this dry, rocky landscape with purple flowers and the fragrance of the Cretan summer.
The Mediterranean climate, rare biodiversity and endemic vegetation contribute to the exceptional character of Cretan thyme honey.
High-quality honey naturally crystallises over time. To return it to a liquid state, place the jar in warm water at a temperature of up to 40°C.
